35 week update
I can't believe I'm already 35 weeks! I guess chasing after a toddler makes time go by faster lol. We finally agreed on a name. Baby boy will be called Noah Douglas. I love the name Noah and Douglas is after my grandfather who died three days before I got married.
When I got to the Dr.s office I felt a small gush of fluid. I thought well this would be a good place for my water to break lol. I had to the have the GBS test done, so I had them check to see if it was amniotic fluid. That came back negative. I'm glad. I want Noah to bake a couple of weeks longer! I guess he gave me a good swift kick to my bladder. I did tear off a piece of the test strip they use to determine if your water broke. I've got two little baggies, one for work and one for home lol. I figure that may come in handy later.
My BP was good, I had lost a couple of pounds since last visit (had a nasty stomach bug over the weekend). By my home scales I'm up a grand total of 3 pounds. They did an ultrasound just to make sure my fluid level was good. Everything looked great. Noah's estimated weight is 6lbs 3 oz.
I got my FMLA paper work filled out. My first day of maternity leave will be Feb 1st (and not a day too soon lol). We also scheduled my c-section. I was really hoping it could be done on Friday, Feb 5Th. My Dr. doesn't work that day, so my next choice was Feb 1st, knowing that was a long shot because I would only be 38 weeks and 3 days. Sure enough she won't do it a day earlier than 39 weeks (which I totally understand). So the big date is Feb 8th. My Mom's B-day is the 9th and Hannah's B-day is the 13Th. Three birthdays in one week! I'm still hoping that my water will break the last week of January. I'll be 38 weeks and that will give us a couple of weeks between the kiddo's b-days. At least I have a date scheduled though! Let the countdown begin!
Here's a belly pic that was taken last week (34 weeks). I'm really enjoying his kicks. This will be my last pregnancy (or at least that's the plan) and I don't won't to take a moment for granted.
Good luck with getting your earlier delivery date! Your picture looks adorable.
I like the name too!
You look awesome and only 3 lbs. is that total????wow
So glad all is well and doesn't it seem so different once you get your section date? Like so close!
Lucas didn't wait for his scheduled date he came at 38 weeks so maybe Noah make his own plans too!

Beth,
Yeah, somehow I have managed not to gain much weight at all. I did lose about 10 pounds the first trimester, so if you count what I had lost I'm up about 12-15 pounds. Of course I go by what I weighed the day after I found I was pregnant and don't count what I lost as actual weight gained. I knew I had to have a c-section with Hannah. She didn't make it her her scheduled date. I really hope Noah doesn't either!
