OT: My 4 month Check-up
Hi Everyone!
Alex here! Mom said that I'm not allowed to touch her laptop, but she's napping right now so I figured I'd sneak on! Today Mom and I went to this place really far from home. It was so far that I fell asleep in the car! I hardly fall asleep in the car any more. Mom said that I would really like this doctor we were about to see. She then whispered something about circumference and this is where i went when I was 3 days old. I don't know what she meant and the place didn't look familiar to me. *shrug*
So we get inside finally! Stupid snow was blowing in my face! I know what snow is because when we went down to visit Grandma and Grandpa over Christmas there was LOTS! Thank goodness Mommy put me in that stupidly adorable blue bear snowsuit. It kept me really warm!
Anyways, We get into the office and no sooner does Mommy take me out of the fuzzy blue thing, does the nurse call my name. It was funny.. She said "Alexander!" and I was like "That's not me, my name is Alex". Mommy had to explain to me that Alexander is my full name and one day I'd understand.
The nurse who took us back to the room was super nice. She asked Mommy to undress me down to my diaper. Good thing that office is warm! The old doctor I went to used to make Mommy undress me completely! I'm already liking this new office! The nurse weighed and measured me and that's when I decided to show her my moves. "Voila! I was on my back.. now I'm on my belly! Look how cute I am!" Then I giggled a bit and flirted while she went to tell the Dr we were ready for her. I am 14lbs 11oz, and 24.5" long! Growing fast!
The Dr came in and she was sooo pretty and nice. I flirted some more. She tried to put this round thing up to my chest to listen but I was so busy gossiping that she had to ask me to hush for 3 secs while she made sure I was growing well. Afterwards, she tickled me! I really liked her. Mommy and the Dr spoke about my head and how Mommy has to always put oil on it and what I was eating. The Dr told Mommy that whatever she was doing was working great so keep it up!
After their little discussion, the doctor turned to me and said she would go get the nurse to give me my immunizations. WTF are immunizations? Well I soon found out! They are PAIN!!! lots of PAIN!!! I tried to be strong with the first one.. just a little whimper... I don't think anyone noticed. But when that second one came.. OUCH! HOLY MOLEY! I couldn't hold it in and I screamed. Thankfully, I'm a big strong boy and I toughened up after a few seconds and pretended I was all better. As soon as Mommy got me dressed again I was asleep. Oh the trauma!
Anyways.. the first 4 months of my life have been really awesome. I've learned so much already and can't wait to learn more.
I better go.. I think I hear Mommy waking up! Don't tell her I was on the laptop! BYE!!!!
