Saturday I was out shopping with Hubby and was actually just about to head home- I was cashing out at the store and got so hot and light headed real quick and the next thing I know I was on the ground with about 15 people around me, I had fainted.

My blood pressure was 108/63- good, my blood sugar was 91...so they aren't sure why I passed out. I got checked out at the hospital; babies heart was good....

I am 18 weeks along and almost 7 months out from surgery. I was wondering if anyone else had any similar experiences while pregnant, if they occured again (should I be nervous?)...just wondering

unfortunally passing out is just one of those things that comes along with the ride... your blood volume has increased about 50% now... passing out is your bodies way of resetting so to say... im glad everything came out ok

I have had that happen with all of my children, not to the point of fainting but I knew it was coming, so I never went a lone and quickly sat down and cooled off.  For some reason with me it only happened when I was out shopping or standing up at church for long periods of time.

I havent passed out but I've been close.  I get dizzy and get real hot at times.  One minute I'm cold and the next minute I'm hot and sweating for no reason.  (i'm 23 weeks)

I have not fainted before, but I have gotten really close. Almost everytime I stand up, I start blacking out and I put my head down til it goes away and then continue on with what I'm doing.
I'm glad to hear that everything is fine. I think it may just be your body's way of letting you know, it needs to slow down a bit.

I've gotten very close to this point too - and it is always standing in line at a store. I'm wondering if it has something to do with how we stand - locking knees too straight etc. I also seem to get this way when I get too warm. I was at my Aunt's last weekend and stood too close to the wood stove too long - I instantly got that hot, sweaty, light headed problem and had to sit down and drink a glass of cool water right away.

Glad that you and baby are OK and I hope that this doesn't happen again!

The heat affects me too .. I like taking hot showers but I can't right now because I'll pass out if the bathroom gets steamy. And like everyone else, just standing in line at stores will do it too.
