have'nt posted here since the last time I was blazed for asking a simple question well my question I went for my first ob app. dr. asked me when was the first day of my last mens. which was nov 27 2009 he says I'm 5 weeks pg but every time I use the due date calculator online  its giving me different due dates dr. says sept. 3rd  online says aug.14th and that I'm 9 weeks I've used 6 different websites all give me the same due date , do you think maybe when the nurse asked me she heard wrong?

In Taking Charge of Your Fertility they say to add nine months- If the 1st day of your last cycle was November 27, then that would be August 27th. You then add seven days to that calculation for your due date- That would be Sept 3rd. I've always used this calculation and it's been right- always matched what the Dr. said. August 14th would be too soon- Maybe they are giiving you a 36 week estimate, since sometimes babies are considered full term at 37 weeks? Sept. 3rd is the date though.

I get september 3 when I check too.  I checked to verify if my due date was correct then used yours.

Technically if sept 3rd is correct you would be 7 weeks pg, but the baby is 5 weeks.  The first two weeks of pg you are not pg yet.

Will you be getting a dating ultrasound soon?

I agree with the others. Sometimes online calculators can be tricky because it will also take into account a 28 day cyle, 30 day cycle, etc
Hopefully, you will get an ultrasound soon and then they can do a better job of estimating how far along you are and your estimated due date. Usually, your due date can be plus or minus a week as well and then it is up to the baby when he/she comes anyhow...mine was early...go figure. Good Luck!
