Thank you, Amy!

I'm glad there's a chance this little tooth won't always be crooked.  It's kinda cute, but I don't want to invest in braces either!

I'm not sure about the karo syrup -- but I think I might have to try the prunes.

We plan on starting to baby proof as soon as the Christmas stuff is fully put away!

Take Care,

Cindy

One home remedy for constipation is to add Kairo (I think that is how you spell it) syrup to his milk or formula.  Just a couple of tablespoons...shake it up real well...and it really does help with constipation.  I have used it with all my kids at times of constipation when they were babies and it worked like a charm :)  Let me warn you though...after he has one good BM that is soft and relatively normal...STOP using it...or you will get the poop that goes clear up their back and into their hair...YUCK!!!

He sure is a dolll and you can tell loves to have his picture taken :)

Hi Laura,

Good advice about stopping before it's too late!

He's had those up-to-the-hair-poop without any assistance before !  UGH.

He thinks picture taking is a great game.  I'm sure that will change!

Take Care,

Cindy

I have no clue re the tooth.

I'd hazard a guess that if he started getting constipated after starting the spinach...that might be doing it.  When you give him spinach, try to some apple juice or prune juice in the vicinity of time.  I know with me...any greens like that - spinach, mustard greens, etc - have the same effect on me.  TMI...I know...but I'm just saying.

He sure is a cutie.  Good luck when you decide to cut his hair...he's going to be very curious as to what's going on and constantly turning his head this way and that!  I don't think I cut my son's hair until he was 11-12 months old.

You're right -- I bet it is the spinach!  It does seem like when he eats that spinach food he gets plugged up.  So I am officially discontinuing the spinch for now -- he didn't really like it much anyway, but I know how healthy it is!

My mother-in-law and her cousins tell me it's bad luck to cut a boys hair before 12 months....but it's getting longer and longer.

Sometimes I look at picures and think "oh, what a cute little girl I have!"

Thank you!

Cindy

You may try giving him some water.  Matthew doesn't like juice and I don't want to push them since there really is no reason for him to drink them.  His pedi told me to start giving him water every day.  He is never constipated anymore.

I am going to try water first!  Thank you!

I give him a sippy cup with water but he just plays with it.  I will try some in his bottle and see if he drinks it.

I hope Cooper doesn't like juice!  There is no reason to drink it, I agree.

Thank you!

Cindy

Always enjoy readind Cooper updates.

He is a healthy boy!! and super cute!

Lucas has two teeth that are very crooked which is perfectly normal with space too as there are plenty more to come and the more they get they straighten up.

If you start stage 2 then that tomato is just fine, it will not mess up his digestive system, it is not on the no-no list. I say go for it!!

As for constipated I always used prunes or prune juice with my other kids.

thanks for sharing!!

Beth

Lucas has 2 teeth!?!?  What a big boy!

I can't wait for him to try tomato....heh heh.  I am pushing my food likings on him and I LOVE tomato based soups / stews, etc.

I am keeping prunes on my "to buy" list.

Thanks for helping!
