Tami ~ Your daughter is beautiful! She looks a lot like you! I know it is so frustrating, but just remember that you did have a pg not long ago. Try to hang in there okay... I am praying for your bfp. Did you o already? In the 2ww? Good luck!

Sabrina ~ Welcome to our little list and good luck. It is good that you have a 28 day cycle. You should know that it is a myth that all women ovulate on their 14th cycle day. If you are interested in more information on tracking your cycles let me know. The easiest way to make sure you are bd (baby dancing/intercourse) at the right time is with ovulation prediction tests. Just pee on a stick, similar to a pg test. Anyway, let us know if you have questions and good luck!
Lesley ~ Good luck ttc. I will add you to the list. If you don't mind me asking, you mention you had one that passed 9 years ago. You lost a twin, a child or did you have a miscarriage? I don't mean to be insensitive, just curious and wanting to know what you are facing now ttc.

Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

 Hello ladies.
Well I am CD 53. I have never had a cycle this long. I go to see the RE on Wed the 13th. Hope to get some info and maybe why I still have no AF since my loss. 
Congrats to Monet on her BFP!!!!! Hope we get some more this week.

Congrats to all of those positives out there! And I was wondering if I could get some help?

I need someone with knowledge to help me figure out my ovulation date, tried OPKs and they didn't help. Anyway, a pm if someone is willing to help would be great!

Hello all!  I'm CD12, so O will be very soon and we're hoping and praying we'll have something to celebrate in a few weeks.  I'm thinking we'll try for another 2 cycles and then set up an appointment with the RE.  Hoping we won't have to go that route, but I did find out my new insurance will cover infertility treatment so we have an option that won't drain us financially.

Sounds like a plan. I hope you don't need the RE, but it sounds like a good goal, and it is awesome that insurance will pay. Shari
