I am so sorry you had to go through this Jo... I don't wish this on anyone. I cry every time I talk about it. I just can't imagine.

Nicki delivered her last night a little after 9:00. She was 1lb and was 12" long. My sister said she was beautiful and other then a few bruises... she was perfect. They did say that if she had an uneventful pregnancy, she would have have delivered a full-term stillborn. Sophia had a knot in the umbilical cord and as she got bigger and heavier, the knot would have become tighter and she would have suffocated. The doctor said although this is very hard, it would be much more difficult to deliver full term and have this happen. I pray they find some sort of peace in that.

Glad to hear Nicki delivered. I hope they have peace. Sophia will forever be an angel in thier hearts and lives. I truly believe that. I would NEVER ever say that a miscarriage isn't hard, but going into labor and delivering a still born child is a devestating scenario.

Still praying for them and thinking of them becuase the pain and confusion and hurt are just beginning. I hope they stay strong, and send lots of hugs and love thier way.

Oh Erika, I haven't been on OH in soooo long and am just so saddened for the loss of Sophia. No words, just hugs, prayers and strength for her mom and dad, for you and everyone affected.
