Ideas Needed

I know we have lots of good ideas here all the time so I thought I'd try here.   A young couple we go to church with is getting married in 2 wks.   Sat is a bridal shower for her.   Sadie is really close to the couple but especially to the bride.   She taught her in Sunday school for a long time....from when Sadie could barely wal****il just a few months ago.  She's been out of town for a few months on an internship.   I wanted to have Sadie bring her a special gift just from her....something special that she can cherish from Sadie.   I just am at a loss to what to get.   It can be something crafty even but not sure what.    I have limited time since the shower is Sat morning and I can't even go get anything until tomorrow afternoon/evening.  Thanks ahead of time ladies!

Do you have "things remembered" stores in your malls there?  They have fabulous things to engrave; i.e. picture frames, clocks, photo trees...just really neat stuff...most of them can do the engraving right in the shop and have it ready in a few hours..

Great idea...yes we do have a things remembered...that's a good idea.   I just might have to take her up there tomorrow evening to pick something out. 

Maybe Sadie could get her a special bible.  My sister gave me a bible for my shower that had been in the family for a long time.  I carried it with my flowers and then had my sister hold it during the wedding.  If there is a Christian bookstore around, you might find a nice bible.

what about something 'old' for her wedding day?  I treasure the old hankie that my great aunt gave me for my wedding day..it was hers!

do you have a cvs?... in thier photo dept they have a picture book you can make for like 10 bucks... you pick it up at the same time you make it
