kicking & movement with anterior placenta....

So...usually my lil girl makes her presence known either at night or in the morning, and I have felt her kick today...but I was wondering...does any one know...how often at 23wks they should be active?

I know I probably dont feel her all the time b/c of the placenta's positioning..but today she seems quieter than usual.  I did do a LOT of housework last night and took down the Xmas tree finally.

What do you all think?  If I give her sugar...she kicks me..and I can tell she is in a new position b/c of those kicks.

I'm probably just paranoid...but even though they hurt...I miss her kicking me all day.

She still has a lot of juice to float around in at this point. SHe probably IS moving around a lot but only floating over to kick you every one in a while. In a few weeks her space will get tighter and you won't miss those kicks. I mean, they'll be more noticeable.......lol

Every baby is different.  I felt my 1st child move at around 20 weeks.  My 2nd child I fet move at 12 weeks and she moved non stop my entire pregnancy. My 3rd child I felt move around 22 weeks. From my experience I felt my boy move less due the the fact that the placenta was anterior.  Out of all 3 of my kids only my 2nd child was "really" active at 20 weeks....she's a very high energy 15 month old and the other 2 are very laid back and were not over active in the womb.

I actually just talked to my doc about this yesterday because somedays I feel her a lot and other days not so much.  She said that at this stage, they don't even pay attention to patterns or frequency of movement because it can vary so much.  There's still lots of room in there for her to move around so she's moving and you just don't feel it.  She said they wouldn't do kick counts until after 30 weeks.

So, yeah, you're just paranoid but we knew that already, didn't we?!  Me too!

Nice to know...LOL.  I just ate some pineapple and she went crazy while I was making an early supper since I've gotta clean again tonite...the MIL is flying in tomorrow.  I can tell she is okay...its just that I am more used to her moving more...but then I'm paranoid even on the days she does move...wondering if she moves enough or too much?  Lord...I am going to warp this baby...LOL
