I had my big ultrasound today!

I would think I'd get another ultrasound. I will beg the doctor if I have too!

I had one at 16 weeks and it didn't show us anything. I am scheduled for one at 22 which is the big one. They were just checking me at 16 wks because I'm High Risk like the PP said. I have about 5 pictures of our munchkin. I am still anxious to find out the sex. I did register for things that don't require a color commitment and we haven't started the baby room yet either. I would definitely ask when they plan to do another and I would go for the self pay option if they aren't planning one at 20-22 weeks.

Maybe they wanted me to get my big ultrasound early because of the bleeding I had early on, or maybe they consider me high risk because of my previous pregnancy with high blood pressure. I don't know. But it was supposed to be the main ultrasound. It took an hour and I had to do it at the hospital. I think I will opt for the self-pay if they don't do another ultrasound. I hope they can see the sex of your baby at your 22 week one!!
