FRIDAY TTC POST (who is makin a baby in 2010?)
Hi girls. I am so sorry I didn't post last week. My computer crashed on christmas morning and we had to buy a new one. Ugh. I tried to look through the posts to see your progress and look for good news. Please update me on what I missed and let me know any changes in the list okay. Oh...I also lost all of the links to fertility friend for those of you that I was tracking your charts. Please either post or pm me the links if you want me to keep watching your cycles okay. I like to keep up with you guys that way. I am going to try to send friend requests to you guys on ff so I don't lose the links again. My sn on ff is sorcha1...maybe you guys can send me a friend request that way?
First of all...Congratulations to Traci on her bfp!! May this bean be uber sticky and I pray that your pg goes smoothly!!
Anyway, how are you guys doing. I looked back two weeks and posted here to those of you that posted then. I am anxious to hear how the journeys are going. I am really proud of you guys for being so supportive to each other on the board too...that is what this forum is all about!!
Kelly ~ Welcome, and good luck on your TTC journey. Most of the abbreviations are at the bottom of this post. Your cycle starts the first full day of your period...not a spotting day, but full flow. Every woman has a luteal phase that is different. So for instance if you have a 28 day cycle and a 10 day lp you will ovulate on cycle day 18, if you have a 16 day lp you will o on cycle day 12...that is why the cd 14 ovulation is a myth for most. If you have a diffferent cycle length the days could change. A lot of women use ovulation prediction kits to make sure they are bd (baby dancing/having sex) at the right time. Also fertilityfriend.com is an awesome site for tracking your cycles. If you have more questions just ask okay.
Lisa ~ I am really sorry about hubby and your journey. I will keep it in prayer that something will work out and that hubby can get through this tough spot emotionally. There are options out there I am sure you guys will work out something that will give you some hope. That is great about your cycle...interesting. Please keep us posted. I am praying for your strength through this okay.
Amy ~ Just read up on your going to the RE. I think RE's are great...and there are ways around some testing...and ways to get meds cheaper too. I got progesterone suppositories in Mexico way cheap...maybe that is an option for you too. Also, I have used the otc cream and that helped my lp. Please keep us posted okay.
Kathy ~ I am keeping you in prayer. I miss seeing you too, but I totally understand. It is sweet of you to come and give support when you are having a rough time, but remember, we are here for you too okay. Don't be a stranger.
Holly ~ So, is January a go?? Sorry if I missed a post
Jen ~ I haven't been online, did you get your bfp??
Debbi ~ I looked at your chart. I tend to agree with your o dates. Your cycle is pretty regular, so I don't think opk's are necessary...as long as you can baby dance for around a week at least every other day. If you do get opk's be sure to use them in the evening time after holding your urine and not drinking for a couple of hours. The lh surge isn't like the pg hormone and usually shows better in the evening. Good luck.
Tami ~ I see you are on cd 9 by your ticker. I am praying hard for your bfp. Keep us posted okay.
