Question...and some pics!

Hannah had acid reflux and was put on meds at 3 weeks old.   I think she was about 6 or 7 weeks old when the Dr. suggested adding cereal when she got a bottle (I breastfed).   It helped a lot with the reflux.  I guess it gives the milk/formula enough weight that it's harder to come back up.

First off...I must say that the girls are precious!  I am sorry to hear that they are still having health issues.  I am sure that you must be so worn out with all of this.  My friend's baby had the same issues with GERD and DR. told her to do the same thing.  It believe that it helped.

jayson was on cereal in his bottles for that very reason at 2 weeks old.. sometimes i had to make it to thick that ir was close to pancake mix.. i also switched his formula to enfamil ar... it has rice starch mixed in... i put him on a level 3 dr browns nipple... just be ready for some serious weight gain

We're experiencing some issues with that now.   Brandon was prescribed Zantac and his formula was switched from Similac Advance to Enfamil Nutramigen....I've seen a big difference, I have a much happier baby!
