Month # 2... BFN! Not to be discouraged...right?
Me & my (ex) hubby tried for 2 yrs to get pregnant. Seemed it was never gonna happen so we decided ok, if it's meant to happen it will if not, then it wasn't. Not long after I found out I was pregnant then went to the OB & found out I was pregnant with twins. Good luck & don't give up or get discouraged.
when we were trying for our first, we told everyone we were trying- big mistake. We'd get asked all the time if I was pg and it took 2 YEARS to get pg with my son!! The first few months when you are trying is so much fun, but it can get so frustrating if it doesn't happen right away. I wanted a baby so badly and it got really depressing after 9 months and a year when I still wasn't pg. When we were trying for our 2nd child, we didn't tell anyone and it still took 14 months (well at 9 mos I got pg and m/c a week later) and 2 rounds of Clomid to get pg. We knew it'd take a while and didn't want to be bugged about it from anyone if it did take a while again.
With this one, we waited till I was a year out of surgery and had my doc's ok to go ahead and ttc #3. I knew it might be different this time around (because of my major weight loss), but was still prepared that it might take a while. Well it happened on the FIRST time, you can imagine my utter SHOCK!!! We didn't tell most people (except family) that I was pg till 12 wks because it happened so fast and we didn't believe it was really happening that I was pregnant.
They say when trying for your first baby, it takes most normal couples 9 months to a year to get pg. When you only have one shot each month to get pg, that slims your chances down a lot to get it right and actually get pg, so just be patient. If you aren't pg by close to a year, call your doc.
After my first baby, I found out that stressing about it can actually delay or prevent ovulation- which counteracts the whole outcome that you actually want- to get pregnant. I would create my own pregnancy symptoms and make myself late because I stressed so much about it and delayed ovulation many times. So I know it's hard to do, but you have to try and relax and have fun trying! ;)

Don't stress... You sound just like me. My husband and I wanted to get prego on our anniversary so bad that we screwed our brains out literally. We were taking all the fun out of the baby making which is suspose to be the funnest part. We were making love based on temperatures and times of month and it became such a chore, daunting task. That even my husband was like do we have to... Then I just said screw it it will be when it will be threw away all my tempatures and ovulation calendars and we just did it like we wanted to and believe it or not that was the month I got pregnant.
