same as most here my dr said 12-18 months post op. i got pregnant at 9 months post op. i had already reached my goal weight. Im currently 11 weeks now, and baby is doing great...

I asked my surgeon on my 1st anniv checkup if I was in good shape to get preggie. I lost 90% of the weight I wanted to loose already, so after reviewing my bloodwork - he gave me the thumbs up. I think it really depends on the indivdual.
