Ok..I had my WLS back in 06' now I'd like to try for a baby, and don't know where to start...LOL He wants a girl and I don't care. We've been trying to track ovulation and things of that matter but I'd like to be more in tune with what's going on. I already have a son (6yrs). Any advice would be most appreiiated...how's the pouch react to baby?? Thanks!

I would recommend getting a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility- It is a great informational source and helps you get started. I used it for both of my pregnancies and got pregnant the first month we tried. I also combined the techniques in the book with ovulation predictor kits (OPK's) that you buy at stores- Worked every time! Good luck!

As far as the pouch, I conceived twins this time around and had such bad nausea that I am only now  (nearly 16 weeks) able to tolerate eating normally again. Still, I can tell when I am throwing up from morning sickness and when it is surgery- My pouch hasn't stretched and I still can eat very little at a time. But, everyone's experience is so unique and different. Good luck with the TTC!!! This is a great board to post your questions- It was invaluable to me during the process.

Thank you so much...I have been trying to track my ovulation so I have all the charts and things like that. My BF has been reading up on what positions, what times, and all the other pertinent info. I just want to have some fun and make a baby  So I'm hoping it works out. I will definately pick up the book! Thank yor again.

BTW I don't think my pouch has streched either, I eat realitively small and can eat the same meal all day. I just can't eat right if I have a belt on... lol
