Question for the day

I guess for the passed 2-3 weeks I've been having a soreness in my lower abdomen.  It's not a pain, or cramping, just a soreness.  It feels different than round ligament pain.  It's just noticeable, not unbearable.  I can feel it more when I pee.

i have had 3 urine cultures and I have no UTI or Kidney infection.  I had trace amounts of protein in my urine but that's been it.  The OB says nothings wrong.

Did anyone else have just a mild soreness in the second trimester???

Thanks

Karen

I wish I had an answer for you, but I don't.  I just wanted you to know I am thinking about you and hope you feel better soon!

Unfortunatley I feel like this most of the time. I asked the doctor. And all he said was it is normal especaill because this is my fourth child and I am 33. Which I don't think it is the case with you but It is due to streching and things in that regin. He told me to look for a good maternity support belt to take some of the pressure off. Hope it helps a little.  It has been 12 years since my last child I feel like I am almost like a new mom again! I can't remember all these aches and pains I guess I blocked them out.

With bittersweet feelings toward this subject I tell you normal...good cause you need not worry but bad cause the pain sucks.

But yes it is normal. I feel it really low in my abdomen and it especially bothers me when I first wake up in the morning. My OB said its probably the way I am sleeping but all I know is it hurts. I feel like I can barely stand up straight for a few minutes. But its all for a good reason...at least so I must remind myself lol.
