Miscarriage??

I recently miscarried at 17 weeks.  Anyone having miscarriages after the LapBand.. Any complications that are suggested to have caused a miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage at 8 1/2 weeks. My RE said it happens in 1 in 4 pregnancies.  Did your OB do a pathalogy report on the fetus? That would give clues as to what caused the miscarriage.

Your lapband would have nothing to do with the micarriage.

I am very sorry for your loss.  I doubt that it had anything to do with your surgery at all.  It would be nice to have something to blame it on, but its probably not your surgery.  Take care of yourself.  (((HUG)))

I have no personal experience to offer as I don't have a lap band, but I am very sorry for your loss.  I hope that they find out what caused the miscarriage and that you are able to conceive and carry to term in the future.

Thank you all for your sympathy... I had a lot of pain in my band area even though it was empty... I just thought I would ask.
