How much?

Do boys seem to eat more than girls?  Bryder seems to be eating more at 3 weeks old than my 2 girls did.  He's eating 5 oz. every 3-4 hrs. The girls were only eating like 3 oz. at this age.

 You know Ash I have to be honest and say I really don't remember from child to child how much they were eating at certain times.  All I remember is my pediatrician telling me to feed on demand.  So, if you go by that...you feed him until he is full and whenever he is hungry.  I don't think at this point he is eating too much by the sounds of it.  If you are ultra concerned, I would call and talk to your pediatrician's nurse and see what her thoughts and recommendations would be :)  

I think he is probably right on track for his needs.  All babies are different.  I wish there was a play book that they all went by :)

no i think it depends on your feeding routine i feed my twins 3-4oz every 1.5-2 hours and its ok with the doc 

my daughter was the same

Heck my daughter eats more than either one of my boys even when the boys got older. They never took more than 4 ounces even till the time they went on milk. Now with Hayvann when we have to give her a bottle she can down a 6 ounce bottle in no time. Its crazy!! She seems healthy though. Feels happy!! Guess they all just do their own thing.

Bryder is almost up to 6 oz....as well
