TMI- Swelling!

Well, just a quick question. I was diagnosed with a yeast infection- I've never had one before. I had no itching or strange discharge, just suddenly a lot of lower swelling- Has anyone else had the swelling? It's mostly just at the opening of the vagina, but it feels heavy and tight a lot. I've been doing the treatments, and still after about 8 hours or so the swelling is back, but I put some of the cream in the area and it goes away. Just wondered if anyone else had a similar experience? By the way, I'm 15 weeks right now. Thanks in advance!

The swelling may be related to pregnancy instead of the yeast infection.   I'm having the same problem with swelling.   At first I would only swell if I'd been on my feet a lot.  Now I'm waking up that way.  

Since you do have a yeast infection I would call the Dr. tomorrow and let know you are also having swelling.    I'm not for sure if swelling is common with yeast infections.

I get the swelling with the infections. I use the sitz bath thing or a ho****er bottle like they give you after birth to squirt down there feels great and helps with it. Its very uncomfortablebut usually goes away after a few days. Hope that helps some. Just keep clean dry and medicated!! :)
