I popped!
At 35 weeks, I had my son Hayden. He is healthy and had no medical issues what so ever. They aren't sure why my water broke at 35 weeks but I have a feeling it was because I was stressed and trying to get too many things done at once.
He was born December 21st at 5:33pm. 5 pounds 9 ounces and 18 inches long. It was literally a few moments of pushing and he was here.
It was actually funny because I was checked at 5pm and was still at 7 cm. I figured it would be another few hours so I was just trying to get comfortable as my epidural was starting to wear off a little. At 5:15 I called the nurse to get a shot to help with the pain and she said she'd check me out since I was hurting so badly. She took one look and said "don't move!" they weren't prepared yet, but he was RIGHT there and I was fully dialated. I was told not to so much as sneeze. So I went really quick!
Like I said there were no complications, they just had the NICU on standby. His breathing was fine, everything fully developed. No jaundice whatsoever.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
