Birth Story
WOW! What a horrific birth story. :( I am so sorry that happened to you. I bet he tried pulling the placenta out before it was ready and then it broke into pieces which resulted in the hemorrhaging and then ripping out of the placenta internally like that. YIKES!! I can NOT imagine the pain you must have been in. It just sounds horribly barbaric!
It can take a while before you have a BM. Intestines are re adjusting. As time wears on you'll feel less swollen and sore and more capable of having a BM too.
I know with my 3rd I had some minor labial tears that needed stitching but I couldn't pee without major pain, my poor DH had to help me pee through a TP tube to help keep the urine off the stitches because the burning was too much to handle. I can ONLY imagine the amount of pain you must have been in with all that repair work. Scary!
Congratulations on getting baby here safely! I had my first baby in December too and it's a great Christmas present. :)
