1st prenatal appointment

hello, went to my prenatal appt today.  bloodwork, pap the midwife wants me to see the doctor I may in the coming weeks have to get a cerclage since I have had 2 leep conizations.  I am glad they are on top of everything.  I go back next week for the first ultrasound.  I will be considered high risk because of age and having had the abnormal paps.  Anyone else had problems like this?

What is leep conizations?  

it is when you have abnormal pap smear and the next step is they do a sample then after that you have outpatient surgery where they take a cone size piece of your cervix and do a d &c  becacuse you have precancerous cells that could turn into cancer.

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy. I am glad they are on top of things.   Take it easy and make sure to not over do it.  I am sorry I don't have any advice. I have never experienced leep proceedure before.
