Thrush
My OB called me in diflucan and I took it yesterday, been gargling with sal****er, and perxide/water. Nothing is helping, and I can't stand this pain! My tongue is swelling, stings and hurts to eat. Anyone got any home remedies I can try? It's really hard to eat right now, it hurts

Oooo girl! I just had thrush on my tongue and I'm telling you, that IS painful! I never knew it felt like that! I wish I knew what would help. Boil your toothbrush or get a new one. Mine would go away and keep coming back a few days later. After I got rid of the toothbrush, knock on wood, it hasn't come back yet. Don't they have that stuff you can actually put ON your tongue, like they do for babies? The Diflucan should knock it out though, will just take a bit. I feel for you......I REALLY do! I hated thrush! Sorry I don't know any home remedies!
