Edited...added pics...Ultrasound at the high risk doc...update
'Bella is still a girl...still...:). And she is good except she has a little fluid on her right kidney but not an overt amount...just enough to keep watch on her. Apparently its common in little boys, not so much in girls. But the Dr was confident that it will probably clear on its own. In fact, when the tech took the pics, it showed clearly but when the doc went back to look himself it appeared normal. So...just to be safe, we are going back in 6wks to look again but he feels confident that it will clear and if it doesn't, he'll refer her to a pediatric nephrologist to follow her. He says only 1% of babies end up having to have surgery...so he feels sure she will be fine. Nothing that threatens her anyway...and that sets my mind at ease.
And the pictures! WOW! They were beautiful. I hope I can find a way to load them...you could see so much in those. I loved looking at her beautiful heart pump that blood just so effortlessly...and her brain! Wow! The images that they caught are amazing. And the tech was so funny: she was like, "no doubt that's a girl...check it out she has finished her vagina"...I thought my baby's daddy was gonna curl up in a ball somewhere. He hates them talking about her girly parts...LOL.
So all in all...a great Christmas present to know she is doing GREAT!

I took pictures of the pics with my camera...but it just doesn't look near as good as the pics from the doc. I may have to get those put on CD or something. The last one is of her looking at us. I have others but I love the profile pics the best. 320/199/140<<<
