At what point?

Do you start worrying about decreased movements from your little bean?

I went to bed early-ish last night, and I usually feel her all night long.  I didn't seem to feel her as much as normal.  Then this morning I really didn't feel her as much as usual.  Now she is beating the crap out of me, maybe she was sleeping for a while?

I'm sure it's OK now, but at what point do you worry?  I just started feeling her on a regular basis.

Thanks Ladies

Karen

I want to say when i was preggers with my son, i read that about 35-40 week mark is when you start to do Kick counts. So many kicks an hour is good.. If you go more then 4 hours with no movement at all, eve after eating then you should call the doctor..
Your little bean was probably just laying around, not wanting to play at all...
Next time she gets lazy and doesn't want to move around Drink something really cold.. that will make her stir around..
take care

I think I had just entered in the third trimester when the P.A. told me he should be moving more consistently.   Next time drink as much ICE cold water as you can as fast as you can.  That always got Hannah moving and it works pretty well on baby boy too.   They try to get away from the cold.

I think that right now it's too early to worry about kick counts because for one they are still small enough the sometimes when the make small subtle movements you won't feel them. But yea I've had days where it seems lik he is having a 24hr rave party in my belly then the following day he pulls a silent bob on me where he is doing pretty much nothing. Now that I am 34 weeks though I do keep track more of his movements but was told not to worry about it before that.

I've heard to start counting kicks at 24 weeks cause by then they're usually consistent. But I remember with my daughter not feeling much movement like usual and things were fine, she just was not active that day. So it's another thing to worry about, I guess.

I brought this up with my doctor two weeks ago, so I was 22 weeks and she said they would no be consistent until around 28 weeks because the nervous system is still developing.
