We had a fun evening in the hospital!
Yesterday I had my 39 week NST, u/s, & OB appt. Luckily my husband came with me this time. At our first appt which was the u/s they did the normal tests where the baby has to pass these 6 things to get a score of 8 out of 8. Well the baby has to pass everything w/ in 30mins. The baby passed all but 2 and those 2 were the moving and flexing. Next they sent us up to the NST where my NP met us right away and advised us that she was going to be sending us to L&D at the hospital so they can watch the baby closer to see if there was anything wrong because the baby wasn't active. She really didn't want us to stick around to chit chat. She wanted us to go to the hospital right away! It kind of freaked me out! We went to the hospital and they put me in my own room and had me put on a gown. They then strapped me up to the NST and monitored the baby for a few hours. The baby showed them right away just how active he/she is when not sleeping!! They also saw that I was contracting but nothing serious enough to show that labor was in the close future or anything like that. So we were at the hospital for a total of about 3 hrs and the baby looked perfect! They did a quick check and I am still NOT dilated and 50% effaced. No bleeding this time thank goodness!
Then we decided to go to Babies-R-Us to buy a car seat. (Note: we have put this off because I have a $100 gift card coming and we wanted to use that along w/ the $100 gift card I got as a baby shower gift to buy the whole travel system.) Well baby is on its way so we thought we better get the car seat now just in case. We find the perfect seat but the neutral carseat is sold out all over the cities so we risk it and go for the girly version. (If it's a boy we can return it for a different one.) We go to check out only to find that our gift card has a $0 balance. They looked into it more and found out that someone in CA had hacked into our card somehow and spent every penny. We ended up having to fork over $115 of our own $ (which we DONT have right now due to xmas and getting prepared for baby's arrival) and they are going to mail us a new card w/ in 7-10 business days. The entire process took us 2 hrs at the store! What a nightmare! I just wanted to vent about that a little bit!

OMG you did have a rough night!!! I am SOOO GLAD the baby is okay!! Little boogers try and scare us. Bella is always so active the NST's takes about 45 mins just so they can get her heartbeats. haha!! The nurse is always like "Bella calm down and lets get this done and you can leave" haha!! As far as the car seat issue that sucks. That's INSANE that hackers can hacker into Gift cards!! R u serious?! Vent on mama!! If you bring your receipt in later can they return it on your credit card or whatever and then purchase it under your gift card? Well I hope you have a better night tonight! Get some rest.

Thank you! They said we can bring the gift card into the store and they can take the $100 off of the card and credit our checking account since we had to pay for the car seat w/ our own money. It's still inconvienent but at least they will do that for us!
It's so funny that your baby girl is going to be named Bella because that is MY name if we have a girl! Not Isabella though just Bella. We have some other girl name ideas too so once we meet her (if its a her) we will see what she looks like but Bella is #1 on my list! lol! I hope that's ok!

Oh NSTs i had about 4 of those with lijah! im suprised they didn't just induce you..the gift card thing though how crappy!!! at least they we're cool about it and you do get the money back on a new gift card. well i hope you don't have to go through all the trouble of returning the seat and get yourself that girl! good luck hun and im sorry you had such a crappy day!!
