Do any of you know how I would leave work on FMLA early?
please remember with FMLA, you are only allowed 480 hours. my employer is fully aware that i will be going on bedrest around april so I will exceed my 480 hours even before my child is born, but what else can i do...my baby comes first. I will be on short term disability that i pay for through my employer and that will hold over an imcome until oct. but my job explained that because i exceed 480 hours they will have to "term" me and i will be elig for rehire as soon as im released to go back to work. best suggestion, ask your hr. and call the company they use to regulate your time. good luck!!
