so, my gallbladder is coming out while pregnant, at 19 weeks

I had mine out at 28 weeks with an open surgery so I think it will be ok. Just wanted to share that it was a positive experience. I had pain for about a week but as with every surgery the first day was the only real bad day and I was in the hospital so they managed that with a morphine pump. Everything went very well and I am fine and so was baby Hayvann. Good luck to you!! Sending postive thoughts your way!!

Good luck.  I hope everything goes smoothly and you're released on schedule w/no complications to you or your little one.  The gall bladder has to be really bad for them to be saying it's necessary to do the surgery while pregnant.  That's obviously something they try to avoid as much as possible....so it probably is for the best to just get it out.
