So this is my second pregancy. I had my daughter at 34 weeks. Not sure why but it just happend. Water broke 18 hours later there she was. I had WLS Aug of 08 and found out we were pregnant june 15th 09. Iv talked to a few other moms that had WLS.. and most have not made it to full term, some were between 36-38 weeks. Is this normal? Iv tried looking up the info online but its not much help. I must not be typing in the right wording. I know that sometime on your second child you may not always go to your due date.. but does WLS effect it also. Just a wondering.. Im 32weeks currently...

Full term is possible.  I was 6 days overdue with my daughter, who was post-op....

IMO, I don't think our WLS have anything to do with us going full-term or not.  I went full-term.  I wound up having to have a csection at 39 weeks though because Alex was breached and stuck up in the horn of my uterus and couldnt get himself turned around.  I found out during the csection that I will probably always have breached babies because of the shape of my uterus, nothing to do with WLS. :)

Most of the women that I've seen on this forum have gone full term as well.

Of course it is.

I went 41 weeks with Kaitlin.

If I hadn't had skyrocketing BPs with Daniel, I would have gone longer with him, as well.  (Edited to add:  He was induced on 37 weeks, day 0, so full-term.)

Keep in mind that full term is 37 weeks.

Thanks for yalls replys. It def is good to know that I could make it to term. Im being watched currently just cause baby is so low, i have to wear this belly belt thing that hold my stomach up, its not the greatest but its okay. I have been arguring with my docs about the glucose test.. They put it off till next week to do reseach, on WLS and Glucose tests. I dont think im gonna get out of it. To them as long as it does not harm the baby, i can handle everything. Im also there first WLS mama. So im there test subject it would seem. Living in Germany is soo not like the states. Yeah the hospitals are just as great and so are the docs. But they just dont know what to do with me.

Oh Lord...I had to kick both of mine out with inductions. Both of my children are post op. Both were induced and my son was induced at 40weeks 1day.  :-)
