Question about contractions...

I have been having what I thought were BH contractions all day long. I have been timing them and they are about 15-20 mins apart. I have been told by a lot of women that these are actual contractions and they should turn into the real deal (pain) sometime down the road weather that be tonight or 5 days from now is a total mystery but they are no longer BH contractions because of how far along I am. Here I always thought BH were the pain free tightening type of contractions and real contractions would hurt. Are these ladies correct?? I was 40% effaced last Thursday and I have my next OB appt tomorrow afternoon. I am sooo excited for this baby to come that I can barely contain myself. My pelvic and cervix pain is getting worse and worse and walking is excruciating! I also "nested" all weekend long! Lastly I was VERY emotional yesterday over every little thing. Do you guys think if I put all of these things together I can hope baby is coming soon?? Please give me some good news gals!! I am so ready to have my baby!

I think you have can have BH all the way until you deliver baby.. I have been having contractions all day.. mine are in my back into my belly!!

I hope you are close!!! Good luck to you!! I cannot wait!!!

It sounds like you could be in early labor. Maybe give your doctor a call. I hope you have your bag backed. Keep us posted.

I hope, I hope, I hope it's early labor!! I know you and daddy are getting very anxious!! Do you have anyone here on OH posting when you have the baby? If not I will be more than happy to. I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl!! I will PM you my cell number. GOOD LUCK!!!
