I am 37 weeks today and am in pain. My hips are killing me and my back hurts. My hubby and mom recommended getting a pregnancy massage. Did any of you ladies get one? How are they?
Thanks
Jessica

My BF from high school specializes in pre-natal massage. she is trained to massage pregnant women and releive specific pains. I would make sure that they are trained. But yeah, go for it. I thought it was awesome.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

My God they're heaven! Just be sure the person knows what they're doing and that they are TRULY doing a bona fide PREGNANCY message. But you're far enough along that if you were to get contractions or anything, your baby would be fine to be delivered since you're technically considered full term right now.

I'd recommend seeing a chiropractor as well. my hips have been aching for weeks and when she adjusts them it is like magic!! She is also certified in pregnancy chiropractics. I plan to get at least 1 massage also.

Feel better!

Hi Jessica,
I got one with my daughter and loved it.  I also got the one that should help put you in labor.  Darn it, but didn't work for me.

I would recommend it!  Relaxing!
