PREGO WEIGHT GAIN!
Hello everyone,
It's been a long time since i have found out i was prego. I am seven months and due 3-6-2010. I can't wait to see my little boy.
I have been having and issue with gain to much weight over the last two months. It's been cold in the valley of california and i havent been very active. I find my self eatting just cause.
The first five months no weight gain, but the six months and 13lbs and then today i went to the dr and 10 lbs. I now that I am still alright, bu****ching the scale jump up so much is scary. I have dreams that I will weight 314lbs again. grr. I now that I am only 183 seven months prego. but i don't no what to do to slow it down, i don't eat high fat foods or sugar. just the same diet all along.
Ok, I'm getting carried away, but you get the idea. The weight gain only goes up at the end of the pregnancy. Or it has more of a tendency to anyway. A 23 pound gain so far is not terrible. It's not the end of the world. Munch only on the good stuff. Do some exercising in the house. You don't always have to go outside to be active, although sometimes it's funner! (Is funner a word? Well if it's not, I just made it one.....LOL) You'll be ok. You're not going to get to 314 pounds in 3 months. Ain't gonna happen. Unless you adopt a 130 pound child. LOL I think weight gain is a scare for everyone that's been in our shoes. It is for me, but I know it won't happen because the alternative (dying) is not a pretty one and I've got TOO much to live for. I'm in more danger of going the other way, losing too much, at this point but I've still got the gaining fear back there. We can't help it. Fat controlled us for WAY too long for it not to be back in our heads pesterin' us. Just think healthy, live healthy and you WILL be healthy. But don't sacrifice eating right now. You have a baby to grow and develop (sorry, I hate the term "baking" where growing a baby is concerned. bad case from where I live). You'll have the rest of your life after the baby is born to take off the 35 pounds you might gain. I worry more about after I have the baby because your mind is so occupied with the baby and taking care of her/him that you forget about yourself sometimes. Don't fall into that trap. Make your health first priority after delivery. A healthy Mom means a healthy baby. You can do it!!!
Sorry for the novel. I just hope I helped in some way. You're not alone!
