Weight Loss after giving birth!
So, I haven't been on here in a very long time, but I have found myself in a place that I do not want to be and need some help/advice.
A little background...I had surgery 3 years ago this January. I lost 170 before getting pregnant. I gained 50 lbs with my son (I admit I ate things I shouldn't have)...Since giving birth on October 22nd, I am down 10 lbs, but I find myself snacking like I was when I was pregnant (due to boredome) and because I am a stay at home Mom right now, I am not very active. I know that I am an emotional/boredom eater and I am so scared of gaining all the weight back.
So, I am looking for some advice from people that have been in my situation. What did you do to lose the weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Any advice would be great! Thanks so much!!

I have the same problem with snacking and the carbs call my name all the time!
I got back on track last week (I lost 7 lbs!) and what I do is schedule myself snacks. I have little baggies of beef jerkey or a string cheese or a sf/ff pudding cup and in the morning I kinda plan my food.... at night if I must have a snack I eat a piece of fruit or something like that.
Are you keeping a food log? That helps me keep in check how much I am eating... if I have a bad day... I have one and start again the next day.
good luck!

I was pretty early out when I got pregnant so I'm not sure how my situation might help you but here it is.
I was 7 ish months out when I got pregnant. I lost 16 lbs right away and then slowly gained it back plus a few. I'm 9 days out from giving birth and I've already dropped 21 lbs. I hope it continues despite the amount and type of foods I'm eating since I'm nursing.
hugs I hope you can get back into a rhythm you are happy with.
