Glucose test .. do or dont

So here is the situation. I live in germany on an army installation, So i have to go to the doctors off post. Well they dont know much about pregnancy and gastricbypass. Which i had 14 months ago. I had my first screening about 5 weeks ago. First blood draw was fine, second was high,and 3rd was fine. Im at 32 weeks now and because that 2nd blood draw was off by 10 point.. 10... i have to do the test again. I had the worst dumping syndrom. The thought of doing this again is making me sick.  I dont want to. If it was really high i could see a problem and undertand retesting.. but 10 points really is nothing. I have no prior case of diabetes, pre pregancy or prior pregancy. Has anyone here done the glucose test.. is there dumping everytime? Is there anything i can do to minimize the effects...

DON'T DO IT!!!

There is a 2 hour test, have a fasting blood draw, eat breakfast, go back 2 hours later and have another blood draw. NO drinking the stuff for us RNYers. I think that it is called the post paradinal (sp??) test.

There are other test they can do that give them the results. I ate a good breakfast waited an hour then tested. DON'T MAKE YOURSELF SICK!!!

My docs had my do the 1 hour which I failed miserably... hmmm I wonder why???

They wanted me to do the 3 hour. I said No Way JOSE. They gave me a glucose monitor and had me test 4 times a day for a week. I called back at the end of the week and gave them my numbers. They were like yeah ummm no chance of sugar problems... your numbers are fantastic. 

I second/third the other's opinons... DON"T!!!!!

It is unsafe for you to yo-yo your sugars as drastically as that test will.

My doctor had me do random finger sticks both fasting and after meals to just check things...
