Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

CD18. Got two very dark lines with in just a few seconds on the OPK on CD 15. Maybe this will be my month and I will get my holiday miracle.
Wishing my body would ovulate on weekends rather than week days though when hubby is not working. Weekdays hubby works the 3pm-11pm shift and I work the 6am to 3pm shift. It's not as much fun doing the BD when your half asleep.
Many of my friends on FB have no idea we are trying for another baby, please no messages or comments on FB. Thanks.......

Hey all!  CD 15 here, hoping that this month will be the one, but not getting my hopes up too high.  If not now, some time soon I'm sure.  I'm going to work hard on not letting the 2WW craziness take over this time.  We'll be visiting my family in MD around testing time so I'm going to focus on enjoying time with my family more than waiting for the day to test.  At least that's my plan at this point.

I am on a break for a couple of months wanna get some blood work done before we try again.

No freakin clue where I am in my cycle other than CD 7. Long story that has to do with irregular cycles again. Still on hold until the middle of Jan.

I am on CD21 so I am in the 2WW. Hubby and I did what we are supposed to so it is out of our hands. We will see what happens. I should either get a BFP or have AF right around Christmas.

Well we've been trying for a year now. :-(

This month was timed very well, we BD all three days before ovulation and the day of. I am now 14dpo (which is long for me, this is tied with my longest cycle, usually I ovulated on CD20 and start on CD30. I'm at CD34, temperatures are still high but a little lower than they were. I tested two days ago and this morning. Nothing. I'm not getting my hopes up though. I was in the middle of my dissertation defense and there was a lot of stress.

On a good note, I am graduating Thursday! Dr. Dunnybocter :)

Congrats Dr. Dunnybocter :) What is your PhD in? I know you are very proud of yourself at this point.
