THAT didn't take long!!!
I am now 3 yrs post-op, 38 years old, and now pregnant for the first time! Had my IUD removed mid-Nov. and the Dr. said it would prob take a few months to get the hormones out of my system and that if i did not get pregnant in afew months to let him know and we could start fertility drugs.
Did NOT need that! IUD removedmid-Nov. Took a pg test a couple days ago cause I felt "funny" and guess what?! Positive! Confirmed at the dr office yesterday. Due date August 22!!!!

lol, i know how you feel. i had my mirena out sept 30, and i got pregnant around november 15/due date august 12 (dating ultrasound is tuesday, and i only had one pseudo period between the mirena being out and the pee stick getting extra lines, so it's not completely sure). like you, we were tolda few months, so we were expecting we'd be pregnant some time in january - i only did the test to make sure i could drink at my bachelorette. heh.
