I, myself hve been taking Fiorcet throughout this entire pregnancy because of sever headaches. (prescribed by my OB... obvously)
I know there have been sever threads on this topic and there have been LOTS of women that have taken it during pregnancy... So my aadvise is to talk to you OB about it and they can give you meds.

Your OB can write you a script for something stronger.
Typically the first choice is fioricet -- a mix of tylenol (known in drug-world Nas apap, btw), butabital, and caffeine.
Next is darvocet.
After that, then you move to the narcotics. Now, I know that word gives moms-to-be the wibbles. Don't. Even the strongest pill-form narcotics when taken as scripted and for occasional pain (hell, I took heavy-duty pain meds during my pregnancy daily) will not adversely affect your baby. Only extremely high-dose and long-term use of scripted meds will have a problem for baby -- the horror stories you hear are for medicines that are much stronger than meds your doc will script.
In any case, the narcs typically run along the lines of hydrocodone/apap mixes (vicodin, tylox, tylenol 3, lorcet, norco), and oxycodone/apap mixes (perccocet, ulcet) -- all in various doses / strenghts of the two medicines. For example, vicodin comes in 2 strenghts -- 5mg and 7.5mg, lorcet and norco are both 10mg of hydro but both with different amounts of apap, etc.
Most women will experience their first "vascular" event -- ie migraine headache, if they are to have them -- while pregnant. They suck. I know. I live with them, but I couldn't blame mine on my kiddos -- although mine were exacerbated by incubating the younglings.
Be sure you are well-hydrated as dehydration will add to it.
Good luck. I know how much they suck.

It sounds like your allergies are going haywire like mine are. There will be days when my head kills all day, my nose is clogged and so are my ears. I've been taking Zyrtec everyday it works wonders. Also, if I get a really bad headache I drink a cup of coffee and it clears up my headache usually right away!

I got really bad headaches during the second trimester with my first pregnancy- The doctor told me to drink a serving of something with caffeine- it worked great. I am having twins too this time around, and have been having a really bad headache for a whole week now. I also think mine is related to a mild cold, but I have been adding one of the Crystal Light Energy packets to a bottle of water when it gets really bad and it does help- a lot. My doctor Ok'd it, and since I normally don't drink caffeine anyway, I figure a little every now and then is fine. Headaches suck!!!
