To "proof read" my Babies R Us registry??

I tried to take all the information you ladies gave me and keep it in mind while registering.

If you go to babiesrus.com-- on the right hand side it will say "find a registry" and just type in the Last Name "Kunkelman" (we're the only ones LOL) it will come right up!

Thanks in advance!!

Karen

It looks great!! My only question for you is....do you plan on having other kids? Would if your next baby is a boy? Then you have to start all over! I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE all the pink....but not sure I would want to put my son in all pink things LOL! Just my thoughts :) Such cute things:)

I think you need more receiving blankets on there. And burp cloths.

Also I agree about too much pink.

These are the things that I think should be gender friendly for future use.

bumbo

pack n play

swing

play matt

bouncer

Clothes and blankets should be all pink for her. But definately keep in mind bigger ticket items that will be useful again. I had a ton of things from riley that I didn't use because I HAD to have pink, and Jantzen well....is a boy. I do make Jantzen use the purple bumbo. (shhhhh!!!!) It's just at home.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I had to laugh when I saw your last name. I have a very dear friend here who shares the same name. I know she has a few friends and relatives who are expecting.... maybe you are one of them!!!

I also went with a lot of pink, but I don't have intentions of having another child after this one.

Edited: nope hers is le not el!

Even though I am a first time mom also, I have two nephews who I have practically raised.

I admitt, there is a lot of pink on that registry lol (great unless you plan on having anymore kids).

Also some things I found that might not be necessary:
changing table- unless you have a small apartment/house this won't get much use. There were diapers and wipes all over the house because when baby needs to be changed 8 out of 10 times you are just going to plop on the floor or bed and change her right there.

Ventaire bottles- everyone has their own opinions of these. I loved them 3 years ago when my first nephew was born but recently they changed something about how they are made. We had bought some when this nephew was born (11 months now) and they constantly leak out the bottom...huge pain in the ass. Love the avent, evenflow (i top rate these as my fav) and dr. brown bottles.

Diaper Champ- Will smell just like any other system. None of them are great once baby starts on solids but to help put a box of baking soda in the bottom of the can...works to neutralize smell so when you open the thing the entire room doesn't smell. But I still recommend.

Thats all from me!

Hi there!
Congrats on your little girl coming ! I have a little girl, and I thought I wouldn't be the mom who dressed her daughter in all pink, but you should see her now! It's rediculous, and I LOVE it! I would say that you cannot possible have too many cloth diapers to use as burp cloths and spill rags ... I go through SO many of these! And I also love the waterproof lap pads for her crib and to keep in the diaper bag for on-the-go diaper changes. I got the big ones and cut the rectangles into 4 smaller squares. Have fun!
