Maybe It's Just Me
As mentioned, this is not my first username. Since you've been around for a while, dig deep, and try to remember when OH reformatted/re-designed the site and many of our profiles were lost. Maybe you should get YOUR facts straight. I think it would probably be best if I don't communicate with you on this topic anymore because it seems we're not able to do so in a way that is effective and conducive to learning. Honestly, you don't think he was attempting to stir the pot with his post? Obviously you haven't been around the internet that long. If you're worried about getting offended by someones response to a controversial post... then DON'T post it.
They got called out by a group of pregnant women for an ignorant post. Do they think that these woman aren't going to jump all over them? Some people feel very strongly about certain issues. I have a distinct opinion about abortion... and if I am going to respond to a post with my opinion, I can for sure take the heat in the kitchen.
I have had disagreements with some people on this board in regard to our differing opinions... but I don't stomp away and tell them I don't want to play anymore. Let's all live in the grown up world... where people disagree, argue, say rude things sometimes and move on and live their lives.

I really didn't take it that way I didn't think he was being provocative or playing the devil's advocate. I seriously, no SERIOUSLY believed he was posting another, widely-accepted, idea. I thought that's what we do on the Internet....at least that's how it's been for as long as I've been around, since dial-up.
I understand some people feel very strongly about certain issues, but really, we're moms here, PREGNANT moms at that. We wouldn't want our children ganging up on kids on the playground, so we should act accordingly.
Maybe the world isn't all neat and little, but we can at least AGREE to DISAGREE instead of making personal attacks and assumpions about others. I'm not familiar with the some to which you are referring, but I'm sure it's just lovely.
