double strollers
hello everyone... im looking for a double stroller... im leaning towards the graco quattro duo stroller
i was orginally looking at a sit and stand however after recent events i have come to realize jayson is a dare devil and the "stand" part would lead to severe injury... is there any pro/con for a side by side vs a tandom?

I think that is one of the better tandem strollers, easier to push. I had 3 different tandem strollers, and I didn't like any of them. They were fine when my twins were little, but once you get som weight in them, they are horrible to push! I have 2 umbrella strollers, and a side by side jogging stroller, I don't use it for jogging, but the bigger wheels are great! I can push that thing with one hand! I got the Instep Safari Jogging Stroller off of Amazon, was worth the purchase!

I found that stroller hard to get the top kiddo into...that and they would kick the crap out of the back of the front rider. I also thought it was HUGE when folded up. I tried about 15 double strollers---no lie. We ended up with a Combi Twin (see babies r us webpage). Ours is black with a red, grey, and black circle print on the inside of the hood. It was $230. I LOVE IT. Folds EASILY in half and is WAY smaller folded that all of the other twin strollers. It is a side by side, but it fits through all public doorways as that was the problem with another twin stroller we had for all of 3 days. We have also taken it on the plane while flying NUMEROUS times and not only has it survived in top shape, but it fits through the security belt thing all folded up, unlike some other twin strollers. I know people like the idea of the "smaller" tandem, but they are more bulky folded up, won't always get through the security xray machine at the airport, and the Combi is light and I think just as easy to manuever. I did like one of the Rainbow-something brand trike twin strollers, but at $500, and the fact that ANY weight put on the handlebar lifted the front wheel really freaked me out.
