When did you find out

So.......... boy or girl? I cannot wait until I find out! When are you able to find out these days anyway? It's been 11 years since my son and I remember I had to wait like 20 weeks to find out! What is the "norm" these days? Anyone know????

I didn't ask my doctor at my last appointment when I can find out and just curious what everyone has heard.

It still is about 20 weeks. Some OBs will do it a few weeks earlier than that though..

22 weeks we found out we're having a girl.

Some women on here have found out as early as 16 or 17 weeks but usually its 20 weeks.

I had an elective 3d ultrasound at 15 weeks and found out I was having a boy.  5 weeks later my ob did the ultrasound and sure enough it was a boy.  Most ob's do them around 18-20 weeks. 

We found out at 18 weeks. Good luck, we're having a boy.

I'm finding out Friday and I'll be 19w4d.

I will be 18 weeks next week and we have an appt. doc says we may be able to get the goods then.

Because I'm like mega high risk I've had an ultrasound monthly by my perinatologist and I found out I was having a boy at 14 weeks. I had a feeling all along he was a boy though and to see i on the screen was just amazing. My hubby wouldn't believe me though until at my next ultrasound I asked for a pic of his privies to give to him.

Our ultrasound tech told us you could find out as early as 17 weeks. I wanted to share with my family in person (they all live out of state and we were going for a visit) so we paid to find out at week 17. I think it was around 65.00... so worth it to me!
