4 months out and pregnant...OMG!!!
I went to the doctors today because I was having some abdominal pain. They did a pelvic exam and everything was fine. The doctor suggested the Nuvaring for me, but wanted me to take a pregnancy test before she ordered the prescription. So I took the test waitied and was about to leave when I heard, " your test was POSITIVE"...what?! I started crying. I did not expect to be pregnant this soon after surgery. We have been so tired...haven't even had sex that often. Funny thing is I was still taking the pill. I even took it this morning. I am so worried. I just want a healthy pregnancy with a healthy baby. Has anyone went through this so early out from surgery? I am so worried and scared!

Take a deep breath! Everything is going to be ok :) you are healthier now than before and your surgeon and OB will get you through this smoothly! Good luck!

I upped my carbs and am hungry ALL the time. I lost 16 lbs initially after finding out I was pregnant, but have gained 5 lbs of that back.....
Keep your chin up! Just talk to your doc about vitamins and eat for the baby! :)
Good luck girl! I was really scared in the beginning too, but we're here for ya!!!

I was right there with u... I am now 8 months out but I am 4 months pregnant. We were using condoms and still got pregnant with twins none the less... All we can think of is a condom had a small hole or something cuz we definitely didn't want to get pregnant early out... All I can say is do what your suppose to and you and your baby should be fine... good luck and congrats! The shock will ware off :)

b-12, iron, vitamin D, folate
Ask for the following tests every 8 weeks minimum to verify your health:
hct, hgb, ferritin, blood serium iron, b-12, folate, thiamin (if puking alot), and 0,25(OH)D
(blood, brain, and bone health)
Also, if you are in ketosis right now, be sure you up your fluids to at LEAST 64fl oz, if not much, much more, and get in at least 100g of carbs. This will kick you out of ketosis, and if you are still producing ketones, will dilute them to help protect your baby. Also, ideally, you'll want 90g of protein a day, but this is REALLY hard, especially in the 1st trimester due to food intolerances and aversions.
Good luck, and if you need any help, let me know.
