19wk check....

Went to doc...everything is going great.  We go for our "big ultrasound" next week even though we went to an independent place around 16wks...and we were told then its a girl.  Why I am scared they will change the sex of the baby at this ultrasound?  Yeah...I know...It is not just about the gender...its to check to make sure everything is developing normally and I am nervous about that too.  When oh when will I settle down and enjoy this pregnancy?

my big ultrasound is in two weeks and time is dragging.... I cant wait to go and find out the sex.....I want to know now!!!!

 Glad to hear everything is going well.  I never relaxed the whole pregnancy until the morning of my c-section.. but then I panicked about being a parent!  I've not relaxed since! lol

Maybe on the second time around you will settle down.

I think I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I'm never going to settle down and enjoy it. 
I got my Doppler last week and I've been able to find the heartbeat pretty consistently but I even second guess that and think maybe I'm hearing something else.  The baby even kicks the transducer...I'll be holding my hand perfectly still pushing down on my flab/skin and there will be a loud crash.

My "big" US is this Friday and my doctor's office called today to tell me that they "forgot" my insurance doesn't cover US in the office and they're going to have to schedule it at another location.  Well my Mom is flying from Colorado to Arizona late Thursday just so she can be here for it.  I was so freaked out.  Fortunately they were able to work it out with another doctor's office and I'll be able to still have it on Friday but, geez.....way to freak out the pregnant lady.

Anyway...you didn't ask about my problems...LOL.

Hang in there...we'll get through this together!

Let me know how that appt goes.  I am a little freaked out now that the "medical community" is doing the ultrasound.  What ifs abound.  I am so trying to leave it in God's hands...but wow!  Just a worrywart.  I wish I wasn't.  I hope I do calm down the second time around.  She did reassure me about B&H and that I probably wasn't feeling those...what I was feeling was probably the baby curling up into one area.  Same thing my friend told me that just had a baby...apparently her baby did not like cold either...LOL.

We will all get through it together!  Thanks for all of your replies...I am addlebrained so I am not thinking straight enough to reply back to everybody but thanks for the thoughts!
