glad to see all is well... and getting better!... i think of your friend missy... her son... how is he doing?

This Thanksgiving was hard without Missy...It was black Friday last year when she got sick....I am hurting like hell still, but each day gets a tab bit better....Noah is doing ok, he has stopped asking where Missy and his baby brother are...I think that is harder NOT to hear him ask for her...And Noah looks just like her..Thank you very much for asking...How are you? Hope things with you are well...

i agree.. im not sure which is worse..its ok to hurt... its one of the healing steps in death.. im glad hes doing ok.. things are good.. jayson is 13 months and jaylyn is due is about 14ish weeks!

Hi Jen,
well, this will make our 4th combined.  Ben has a daughter that will be 13 on Xmas eve.  My son will be 11 in June.  My daughter will be 3 the day after Xmas.  Then this baby is due on July 22nd.  Which happens to be my deceased husbands birthday. 

So Ben asked if we could name the baby after Chance.   My first husband was Michael Chance, but he went by Chance.  So if it's a boy his name will be Colton Chance.  We don't have a girl name picked out yet, but her middle name will be Chance as well. 

We have tried for a year to get pregnant and each month the test was negative.  So I was really suprised to find it positive.  Then when I punched in the info and found out the baby was due on Chance's birthday I knew it was Chance's way of telling us he is watching over us and everything will be alright!

Ok Bambi, you just made me cry and I love that Ben is sooo supportive of the name.  And Jen, glad you are doing better also.  I hope you both have a very Merry Christmas.

I am sorry I made you cry!  I get teary eye when I tell the story everytime!   I am so lucky to have found Ben, I couldn't have asked for a better father.  He treats my children like they are his own, he even introduces them as his kids, not his step kids.  We all got along great, and when the kids finally met each other they got along as well.  My kids hate it when their sister has to go back home.  Delaney usually tells Emily that she can't go back.  It's cute.  Ben is hoping that Emily will decide to move in with us full time.  But she's in 7th grade and has friends established and it would be really hard to leave her mom.  luckily her mom and I get along great.  I really like her.  Ben was never married to her mom, he asked,but she said no.
