Maternity Clothes issues
I am having a hard time finding maternity pants that are comfortable. I was wearing a size 20 before I found out I was pregnant and my belly is already very large. The stores I've been to carry up to an XL in pants and I need an XXL. I went to Motherhood Maternity store and tried pants on there and they fit, but my belly sags somewhat and so the pants fit weird. I can't wear the low rise under my belly cause it's just uncomfortable with the way my belly is. The one's that go clear over my belly are the most comfortable but the line where the stretchy part and the normal part meet hit my lower stomach in a weird spot and when I sit it's tight. Ok, I know too much info. Does anyone have any suggestions for maternity pants that would be comfortable? Maybe some of you know what I'm talking about with the tummy issue.
RIght now, I'm doing the jeans unzipped and unbuttoned with the belly band over it, it just makes me paranoid that it's going to ride up and then I'd be showing my belly. I got the plus size band at Motherhood but it's a little loose, yet the regular sized one was too tight. I'm sure I'll grow into it. When I was pregnant last time. I was wearing a 26/28 and couldn't find maternity pants at all, I just bought like stretchy pull on pants in a few sizes bigger, but I'd rather not do that this time.
Well, my grandma is an excellent seamstress and does my work at the right price (FREE), so I've never attempted to do it myself. I say, go for it and let us know how it works. I live far away from her now, so maybe I could save on the postage if I braved it myself. ;)
Afer all, it's not going to matter what they look like since the panel won't show. All that matters is that they stay up!

When you were at Motherhood did you try the Secret Fit Belly jeans....I think they probably carry them in xxl and larger. I loved them when I was pregnant! The stretchy part went up very high and it didn't cut into you at a awful angle. Those were my favorite jeans. I lived in them my whole pregnancy!
