Okay so I have been telling my OB and Doc's since I had gastric that I have been dizzy, light-headed, and overall feel like **** Well now that I am pregnant my B/P is way LOW!! Well as I get farther and farther along its getting worse and worse. I can't do ANYTHING!! I do a load of laundry and my heart starts RACING and I get really really dizzy and then start sweating. Well at my NST on monday the monitor kept going off your heart rate is suppost to stay below 120 mine was over that the entire time. Usually at Dr. appts my pulse is about 110-120 but monday it was 120-150 the entire time. Plus my B/P went from 90/50 to 80/50 in the 20 min test frame. Well then I asked the OB on monday about how my glucose test was 67 after I had eatin a meal. I told him I am getting more and more tired and dizzy just walking around the house. So he took my sugar after an hour of eating and it was 63. So what's causing this my sugar, my b/p, both? He said probably both. My question for you ladies is do ny of you have this problem? I Eat alot of small meals a day. I just feel helpless I can't do anything preparing for the baby without almost passing out :( So any advice is helpful!!

I had this issue also. My b/p was normally around the 80/40 range. My blood sugar stayed very low. I was dizzy and had no energy. I ate every 2-3 hours at least and sometimes in between depending on what I was doing. I also kept hershey kisses by me to suck on those and those would help some. It never was great but those things helped a little.

Sorry about hubby leaving. I know how you feel though. Waiting to see what my husbands unit will do with him since they are just coming home from Iraq and he stayed behind on rear d this time. I am here for you in support with whatever you may need. :)

I sufferred with this same exact thing for most of my last pregnancy, I passed out in the craziest of places including the grocery store and public forumns. Just couldn't control it. I kept some Glucose tablets in my pocket where-ever I went and got real good at recognizing when I was going to pass out and I started sitting down, no matter where I was, yeah I did look pretty silly in some places! But if I sat down right away and popped one of those tablets, I seemed to come out of it pretty well! It was frustrating, but went away right after I delivered my son. I still have pretty low blood pressure to this day, but not nearly the amount of dizzy/fainting spells as when I was pregnant!

Try drinking Gatorade and broth. My cardiologist told me to do that cause of the salt. I know when it start getting low I start craving chips.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

when was the last time you had your vitamin levels checked? I am anemic, but usually only experience symptoms when i have my period from the blood loss. The symptoms you are describing sound exactly like how i feel when i am having a bout.... I feel dizzy... weak... blood pressure drops (i have low blood pressure to begin with even when i was overweight) and i start having bad hot flashes... It is not painful but the uncomfortableness is indescribable... alot of this had to do with the large volumes of blood loss with my period that causes the aneimia...  but your sysmptoms sound exactly like how i would feel to a tee! I would make an appopintment to see a cardiologist too, sometimes it takes a bit to get an appointment but it might set you at ease to have a specialist try to figure out whats up... I also get heart palpitations regularly and it can be scary when docs tell you theres nothing wrong with you yet your heart races.... enough to make you crazy.... Nuts but once i found out there WAS something wrong with me i felt better... cause then you can DO something about it....Now i take extra iorn and get my blood check 4x a year (im having it checked every month now that im prego)

PS aniemia can be caused my lack of vitamin B12 or folic acid as well just FYI
