Im home from my dr appt! Long! (Sorry!)
So, I went 45 minutes early lol. I was so anxious it was driving me nuts, so I went early. I figured I would be less anxious in the waiting room reading the magizines and chatting with the other preggos. And they called me early! I was so happy because usually its a long wait. Anyways they put me into a room with the sono machine allready in it. When the doc came in he explained that it may be too soon to see anything at all, being only 5 weeks along. Then he told me the cramping im experiencing could be scar tissue from the ovary they removed 3 months ago. (They thought they would have to do a complete hysterectomy, but were successful in getting just the tumor and ovary out. However, I learned today that they actually took the LEFT ovary, not the right, which we always thought! Apparently the tumor was so big it had twisted around and pressed things, and made it look as if it was on the right side, but when they opend me up, it was on the left. Crazy huh?) Anyways he said he was happy that my hcg numbers where doubling, and he prepared me to see absolutely nothing on the sono. But as soon as he inserted the wand thingy, there it was! The lil sac, complete with embryo and sac! He said that he was really happy with that, it is def NOT in the tub, and things look like they are progessing normally. He did say that he is pretty sure it was the yolk sac and not an ADDITIONAL embyo, but he couldnt rule that out either! So its a slim possibilty of twins, but hes pretty confident it is the embroy and yolk sac. Its still a bit early to pick up a heartbeat, so we are going back in on Tuesday for another sonogram to see the heartbeat and embryo count. :) He told me to still take it easy, to expect spotting from the exam, and to make sure I walk atleast 30 minutes each day, but no heavy lifting etc. I feel soooo much better! I know that there is still a chance of miscarraige, as with every pregnancy, but I feel better non the less! And thank you all so so sooo much for your well wishes and just for being there! I can tell you women on this board are caring, compassionate and really there for each other, and I so look forward to forming friendships with each of you! :)

Super proud mommy to Dylan, Owen and Sophia Brianne!
AWESOME! I think i'm in love with your doctor. I went at the same time you did, and because they didn't find a HB, they thought she wasn't going to make it. they scared the crap out of me and when I went back and everything was fine, the tech was so angry that they did that. They even told me to be prepared for a D and C. The tech was so mad. She was like, "you never see that this soon".
Way to go, doc! Congrats to you too...those good visits make you feel soooo good!
