I need HELP......
I am 10wk pregnant. First pregnancy after weight loss surgery. My main concern is "morning sickness" I am sick all the time. I don't even want to eat cause I get sick soon after! I am just miserable. I am sitting here in pain just wanting to go lay down, I have been in bed all day. I don't want to move at all. I have two speeds....SLOW and SLOWER! I have a 4 yr old daughter and when I was pregnant with her I had very little morning sickness. With this pregnancy its so severe I can't handle it! I'm just wondering if anyone else has felt this way???? any advice is welcome............HELP
I know what you are going through. I am pg with my second (but first with WLS) and was and am sick with both of them. I'm taking the generic Zofran 3x times a day too and it helps ALOT. I only took one a day due to insurance limits with my now 4 year old. Though I don't get physically sick now b/c of the medicine, I feel nausea all day long and it is just a yucky feeling to have for 10 mths. I would ask dr. for the zofran asap. I tried all the other home rems and had no luck with my first one. Hopefully, unlike myself, you will be feeling much better in a month or less like most women. If you have more questions, feel free to ask.
I hate morning sickness. It sucks. Eat what you can, when you can.
But, add a b1 (thiamin) supplement on the days you puke. If you can't get just a b1, add a liquid bcomplex to a drink. Puking will steal thiamin from your system and that's not a good thing -- and even one of our ladies actually got critically low on thiamin while pregnant so she can speak from first hand experience.
It's not hard, just one extra thing and it will save you some problems down the road.
