Brands of baby food ?? (And Decorating Pics)
First -- Cooper had some peas today and LOVED them. (more than green beans!) He ate half the jar.... and was wanting more, but I wanted him to have formula too.
But there are so many brands of baby food.... is one better? One of my co-workers said "Gerber is crap, don't buy it" but it seems to have the same ingrediants (peas and water) as Beech-Nut or the generic brand or the Organic brands...... is one really better?
(yes, I'd love to make my own....but I know time-wise I won't. for now I have to buy it)
Thanks in Advance !!
Second -- below are some decorating pictures! We still have stuff inside to do....but we're started at least.

We didn't have a Santa for the sleigh..... but we found one. Now if only there was snow !
Cooper loved the tinsel garland.....but HATED the taste/feel of it in his mouth. It was funny to watch!

I buy Gerber and Beechnut. Both are fine to me. I have never bought Earths Best because every time my sister bought it, there was always mold under that cap. NASTY! Not sure what other brands there is.
The pics are great! He is so cute with a huge smile!!! Loving the last one!!

loved seeing your cute pics of Cooper, what a cutie pie! And I always would buy Gerber and sometimes Beechnut baby food and my kids loved both. I liked the Gerber baby food in the plastic containers too (not just glass), they are good to wash out and use afterwards for snacks (Cheerios, Goldfish crackers, etc) because they have the snap on lids and are the perfect size to put in the diaper bag.
We fed predominantly gerber, but had a spattering of beech nut as well. I never once feed Earth's Best simply because I am not made of gold. I want the best for my babies, but not at prices in which I need to take out a 2nd mortgage just to feed them. Both of them are healthy, well-fed, and doing well. Considering their health, I'd say they did well on gerber (I mean, not a single ear infection between them, serious health condition, hospitalization, etc. for either).
I used mostly beech-nut and some gerber, but the reason was because many of the fruits had added sugar in them with gerber and with beech-nut they didn't. This was a while ago, cause my daughter will be 4 in a couple weeks so it could have changed, I'm not sure. Also I bought some gerber baby foods one time cause it was on sale at Wal-mart, it was still in date, but on a killer sale, and it gave her bad diarehha. So I prefer beech nut.
1st, Cooper is sooooo cute!! I love the pics. 2nd, with my first 3 they got whatever was on sale and/or i had coupons for. I tried making baby food and could never get it soft enough. Our baby Jiada had soy allergies so she had to be on Earths Best cereal as it was the only one without soy ingredients. She started on table food at 10 months. It was just easier because I knew what was in it with her allergies. It is amazing how soy is in EVERTHING. Blessings to you.
I tried Beechnut with my 1st baby and we both thought it tasted nasty (yes, I tried everything I gave him). Again, it was 8 yrs ago so I'm sure there have been changes since. I use Gerber, but as per my pp, Everett doesn't care for it.
Earth's Best did not impress me, especially the cost. Better off making your own.
Love the pics, especially the last one!
Hugs,
