what does a Braxton Hicks contraction

feel like? I was just reading one of my weekly e-mails from "babyzone.com" and they said that BH contractions could be starting now - and that if they are accompanied by back ache you should call the Dr. Well as many of you know I have been having these low stretching type pains in my belly and a lot of back aches / sore back issues. I have been in a major "worry wart" phase the last week or so and I am sure that this is just more of the same.

kinda like a tighting... non painful... doesnt involve your back... just your belly

It is like a real tightening of your tummy. I thought it was just the baby moving around causing pressure when I finally figured out that what I was feel were actualy BH contractions. They don't hurt at all but they make you feel like you  need to sit up straight to give the baby more room or something lol! It's pretty crazy!

Most of mine are painless.  It feels like my stomach turns into a steel ball.   Next time you have an ****** pay attention to how your uterus stays hard for a few minutes.   Pretty much the same feeling as a braxton hicks.

Thanks Amy! I "think" I am having them now and then. Upped my fluids today. I also think that I am starting to feel movement! I really hope so!

I'm not sure I really had them....  I had 3 days prior to delivery (around 7.5 months and then in my 8th -9th month) where I had contractions -- but they felt like contractions and were regular. 

I never had BH which are supposedly random and go away with laying down and liquids.

I hope you are feeling movement -- that is the most amazng thing in the world! 

In fact I am jealous -- although Cooper kicked me in the stomach today from the outside and I realized not much has changed.  LOL.
